** Let's Travel With Us Year 2019 **

Bali Golf and Country Club will offer visitors to Bali a truly unique golfing experience because of the fantastic setting of the course. Golfers in effect will experience three distinct playing environments as a result of the variety of environmental settings throughout the 18-hole course.

Holes one through nine play inland and uphill through dense tropical vegetation and provide the player with magnificent views of Nusa Dua below, the Indian Ocean, and on a clear day a view of distant mountains. The setting of holes one through nine feature creeks, canyons, and native vegetation filled with tropical birds. The golf course architect team of Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright incorporated small hand-built stone walls to terrace the sides of fairways and tees in order to emulate the rice field terraces of the Bali countryside.

The setting for holes 10 through 16 present the golfer with lush gently sculptured fairways through a mature coconut grove. The coconut palms, some as tall as 100 feet, provide vertical definition to the golf course.

The third distinct setting of holes 17 and 18 present to the golfer a seaside beach experience. The 17th plays out to the beach of the beautiful blue Indian Ocean and usually into the wind. The 18th plays from the beach back to the clubhouse along side a 16-acre lake.

The golfer at Bali Golf and Country Club will experience golf holes through gradual hills with lush tropical vegetation and magnificent ocean views, golf holes through a 100 feet tall mature coconut grove, and golf holes out and back to the beach of the Indian Ocean. In all, the varied natural setting of Bali Golf and Country Club provides Bali guests with a truly unique golfing experience.

The Nusa Dua resort area is a fully self-contained beach resort environment with a wide array of restaurants, entertainment, and recreational facilities. Comprising about three miles of white sand beaches, landscaped open areas, deluxe hotels and recreation facilities, Nusa Dua is Bali for many. Situated at the southern tip of the island of Bali, Nusa Dua has the highest concentration of top class tourism services. Perceived within travel circles as a mainstream tourist development, its growth has paralleled Bali's emergence as a world-class vacation destination.

Nusa Dua was conceived and planned in the late 1970's by the Government of Indonesia to receive the majority of Bali's luxury resort development. The area is overseen by the Bali Tourism Development Corporation (BTDC), a governmental agency responsible for its development and management. A comprehensive plan and design review by the BTDC ensure that all new construction conforms to the area's image as a premier, international class resort destination. The resort's dramatic entry gate, unified architecture and lush tropical landscaping give the area an image of distinction.

An extensive Convention Center opened in early 1991 giving Bali the ability to compete for large international conferences and conventions. The Bali Ngurah Rai airport is only a twenty minutes drive away.

In addition to hotels planned for the area, an "Amenity Core" is being developed in the center of Nusa Dua. The area will be a lively commercial development catering to the tourist market with a major department store, small specialty shops, and a mix of restaurants and other commercial facilities.

Located in the heart of Nusa Dua's choicest hotel area, the 18-hole championship course and the other integrated development of the Bali Golf and Country Club are world-class attractions on Bali's list of impressive travel opportunities. The new facilities will quickly rank Bali as a major golf destination in the Asian region.
